Changeable Hawk-Eagle, Dark morph.

My 1st encounter with this raptor when I was about to leave the park.
It was also my first time trying out my newly purchased Canon SX70HS. Oh mine, lucky I was able operate my camera on my very 1st try.
Fast forward now (Dec 2022), the birds were disappearing and the herons nest were gone. Heard from park goers that this raptors has eaten up the chicks of different species here. Not sure if it is true, but really, the birds disappeared, perhaps due to this bird that they have left for good?

It was enjoying its space as there were only a 4 birders there. Unlike on weekends there were plenty of them and it will perch very high up the tree.

My first sighting of this raptor.
It was harassed by the house crow, following him around and never let go.
