Grey Heron

 Grey Heron used to be abundance at Pasir Ris Park. Plenty of nesting there. But at the end of 2021, I realised there is a big decline in the number of birds. Just realised upon watching one of the documentary that most of the chicks has been eaten up by the black morph raptor. Not sure it it is true.

Spotted it with a big catch.

Happened to be at the bridge when we spotted this Grey Heron fished out a fish.

It was fast to swallow the fish.

Spotted this heron with a big brown shape leaf item on its beak.

I suspected it is a big fish, so ran towards it. Yes, it was a big fish.

The fish was tortured and not eaten.
