Blue-throated Bee-eater

It is quite rare to spot Blue-throated Bee-eaters. They are smaller in size compared to the more commonly seen Blue-tailed Bee-eaters. 

2022 to 2023 migration season has started. My 1st sighting of these birds in flock was on 24 Nov 2022 at SBG, swan lake. There were other sightings, but this group let me think they are migratory cause it was a really big group.

Taking a slow walk back to Fragrance garden after lunch when I spotted a flock of Blue-throated Bee-eater flying around the pond.

During the migratory month Oct 2021 to Mar 2022, I spotted most of them at Jurong Lake Gardens.

Usually perched very high on a tree, it makes capturing a sharp picture difficult as I do not own a professional camera. Still, I am glad to be able to spot them and take a picture of them thought not as professional.
