Taiga Flycatcher

Taiga Flycatcher flew here from as far as western Russia to eastern Russia, northern Mongolia, northeastern China and winters to Indian subcontinent, southern China, Indochina, Thailand and Peninsula Malaysia where it is rare.

So to say, to spot one in Singapore is very very special.

It was so small, and in the middle of the river, thanks to a birder whom tried very hard to tell me where it was.

Another birder teased me that my picture did not show its tail pointing upwards. So not valid. To me, it is ok. It is a Taiga.
